CMW/F

I didn't get to any Canadian Music Week/Fest shows, but there were a number of good accounts of what happened. So, if you're the kind of person that complains about CanCon - you're probably not reading this - but if you are... check out some of these bands and shutyourpiehole.

Some show reviews (and I realize this is pretty late) from CMW/F.

• Bob = Sloan, Matt Mays, Black Hat Brigade, the Bicycles, Amos the Transaprent, among others.
• Michael (Big Mike?) = Tindersticks, Slim Twig, the Rural Alberta Advantage, Black Hat Brigade and Amos the Transparent, among others.
• Various Artists @ AWmusic.ca - saw a bunch of stuff, but the ones that might be of any interest to me/you all - Two Hours Traffic, Rebekah Higgs, and Young Galaxy; The Bicycles, Human Highway, Handsome Furs; Chad VanGaalen, Gentleman Reg.
• BlogTO has a bunch of stuff also... including this 'CMW in photos' post, which is pretty excellent (even if I know exactly one of the bands that he took photos of)
